Litho Printing

Litho Printing

We offer advice to our clients throughout their project sharing with them our knowledge, understanding and attention to detail to ensure high quality results.

Litho printing involves using a laser to burn an image onto a metal plate. This plate is then loaded onto the printing press and treated in a particular way so that only vegetable-based inks adhere to the image area and not the non-image area. The inked image is then transferred (or ‘offset’) onto a rubber blanket and then onto the printing surface. This surface can be card or paper. This process is normally used for high volume print runs.
